The rules were first introduced by the Ministry on the 31st of March, 2014 and were brought into implementation on the 1st of April, 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ministry recently made the third set of amendments to the rules on the 5th of July pertaining to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.legalraasta.com\/blog\/penalty-non-filing-dir-3-kyc\/\">Non-filing of DIR-3 KYC e-form.<\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\"> in the table of fees for the removal of names of companies from the registrar of companies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Amendment_to_Registration_Offices_and_Fees\"><\/span>Amendment to Registration Offices and Fees<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A fee of Rs. 5000 is liable if the DIR-3 KYC e-form is submitted after the stipulated date of the 31st of August. Attached below is the copy of the amendment issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Government of India<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Notification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>New Delhi, dated 05.07.2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>G.S.R. 616(E).<\/strong>\u2014In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 396,398,399, 403 and 404 read with sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 469 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the <strong>Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014<\/strong>, namely:-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. (1) These rules may be called the <strong>Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Third Amendment Rules, 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(2) Save as otherwise provided in these rules, they shall come into force with effect from 10.07.2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. In the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014, in the Annexure, after item VI relating to Fees for Removal of Names of Companies from the Registrar of Companies under section 248 (2) of the Act, in the Annexure, the following item shall be inserted, namely:-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cVII. FEE FOR FILING e- Form DIR-3 KYC under rule 12A of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">i) Fee payable till the 30th April of every financial year in respect of e-form DIR-3 KYC as at the 31st March of immediate previous year.<\/td>\n<td width=\"115\">_________<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">ii) Fee payable (in delayed case).<\/td>\n<td width=\"115\">Rs.5000<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Note: For the current financial (2018-2019), no fee shall be chargeable till the 31st August 2018 and fee of Rs.5000 shall be payable on or after the 1st September, 2018\u2033<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">[F.
