PRAN full form is Permanent Retirement Account Number. It is a 12-digit unique number provided to each subscriber under NPS after completion of the registration formalities of PRAN. Moreover, this card looks like a document that contains the PRAN, subscribers name, father’s name, Photograph and signature\/thumb impression. It is basically issued to persons who are registered under the National Pension Scheme (NPS).<\/p>\n
National Pension Scheme is governed by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). NSDL and PFRDA came into an agreement together for setting a Central Book Keeping Agency (CRA) wherein all the details of members of NPS are stored. Therefore, NSDL is an authenticated official website to issue PRAN cards.<\/p>\n
