The project was initiated in the year 2000. The project encompasses all the manual RTCs prevalent at the time of data entry and digitalized them in order to make them available to citizens through the Kiosk Centres. Ownership and other changes in the RTCs are carried out through Mutation as per the KLR act using the Land Records Database. The Bhoomi back offices have been set up at 176 taluks, 1 additional taluk, and 26 special taluks of the state. These centers&#8217; Land Record Kiosks and Application Kiosks have also been set up.<\/p>\n<p>The LR kiosks issue the following documents by collecting the respective user fees as shown below. Acknowledgment Number is also issued to the citizen at this Kiosk. Applicants can know mutation status via the acknowledgment number. Mutation requests are processed at Bhoomi back offices.\u00a0 Biometric fingerprint authentication is used for all users in the Bhoomi application in order to prevent unauthorized access to the database. The RTCs are digitally signed using the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concept.\u00a0 Amount collected in Kiosk Centers is remitted to the PD Account of the Deputy Commissioner. Bhoomi is a self-sustained project. The expenditures related to purchases\/maintenance of hardware, infrastructure, technical manpower, stationery, consumables etc are met through the user charges funds collected at Kiosk centers.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bhoomi_Services\"><\/span>Bhoomi Services<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The online Bhoomi\u00a0portal is committed\u00a0to providing land record management services to the citizens. Following are the verticals of services the Bhoomi\u00a0portal is committed to delivering to the citizens:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bhoomi reports<\/li>\n<li>Dispute Cases<\/li>\n<li>Village Mutation Pendency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bhoomi_RTC\"><\/span>Bhoomi RTC<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>RTC stands for the Record of Rights, Tenancy and Crop Information. The RTC\/ Pahani contains the details of agricultural land. The following details are availed via the Bhoomi Portal<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Land Owner Details<\/li>\n<li>Land Type<\/li>\n<li>Area of Measurement<\/li>\n<li>Water Rate<\/li>\n<li>Type of Soil<\/li>\n<li>Flood areas inclusive of Agricultural, Commercial, Non-Agricultural residential flood area.<\/li>\n<li>Land Possession Nature<\/li>\n<li>Tenancy<\/li>\n<li>Liabilities<\/li>\n<li>Cultivated Crops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>RTC (Pahani) helps to find the title of the land, and it is very useful for many other purposes. n RTC is always issued in hectares\/acres for village lands, with the signatures of the Tahsildar \/Deputy Tahsildar.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bhoomi_Portal_for_Farmers\"><\/span>Bhoomi Portal for Farmers<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Bhoomi portal for land records is extremely helpful for the farmers in Karnataka. The portal has led to a reduction in the discretion of public officials. A wide array of facilities have been enabled for the farmers via the Bhoomi portal. To view, RTC click on view RTC option<\/p>\n<p>Step 8: After viewing the RTC, Click on the Pay and Download option<\/p>\n<p>The fee for RTC is \u20b9 10.<\/p>\n<p>Step 9:\u00a0 Select the declaration and click pay now:<\/p>\n<p>Step 10: You will be redirected to the payments page.
