Employers who are engaged in certain Industries and engaging 20 or more employees are required to enroll all employee under PF on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legalraasta.com\/blog\/?p=17231&amp;preview=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unified Portal<\/a> and provide UAN. This article is based on the procedure for viewing PF claim status through various methods like EPF website, UMANG App, missed call and SMS.<\/p>\n<p>Any employee can check his PF claim status after making an application for PF withdrawal. In case, if an employee is having\u00a0UAN then the PF claim must be made in PF claim form 11. It does not require the employer&#8217;s attestation and can be submitted online through the unified portal.<\/p>\n<p>In case, an employee is not having UAN can apply for PF claim using PF claim form 19. It must be attested by the employer and employee and submitted at the nearest EPFO office.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_check_the_Online_PF_claim_status\"><\/span><strong>How to check the Online PF claim status?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To check PF claim status online, all you need to access the <a href=\"https:\/\/passbook.epfindia.gov.in\/MemClaimStatusUAN\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PF claim check website<\/a> and follow the steps provided below:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>STEP 1.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>First of all, submit the employees UAN. Employees who have made PF contributions after 2014 will receive UAN. Besides, Employees can access a wide range of PF related services on the UMANG App like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>View Passbook<\/li>\n<li>Raise Claim<\/li>\n<li>Track PF Claim<\/li>\n<li>Search Establishment<\/li>\n<li>Search EPFO Office<\/li>\n<li>Know Your Claim Status<\/li>\n<li>Get Remittance Details By Establishment ID<\/li>\n<li>Get TRRN Status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_check_PF_claim_status_through_a_Missed_call\"><\/span>How to check PF claim status through a Missed call?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Employees who are registered on the unified portal and having UAN can also get their EPFO details by giving a missed call at <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">011-22901406<\/span> from the mobile number registered on the UAN portal. The UAN of the member must have been updated with a\u00a0bank account, PAN and Aadhaar details.<\/p>\n<p>Give a missed call to 011-22901406 to get a PF Claim status. The call would be disconnected after two rings and there would be no call charges. Then, the employee would receive details of his\/her PF account following the missed call as SMS.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_check_PF_claim_status_through_SMS\"><\/span>How to check PF claim status through SMS?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can also check the PF claim status through SMS. The employee can avail this opportunity if he has UAN and is registered on the Unified portal.<\/p>\n<p>Send an SMS to <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">7738299899<\/span> from a registered mobile number with the following content:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cEPFOHO UAN\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This facility is available in English (default) and Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannad, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali. For receiving the SMS in any of the languages other than English, First three characters of the preferred language need to be added after UAN.
