What is Employees Provident Fund (EPF)
EPF is one of the main schemes of savings in India for nearly all people working in Government, Private, or Public sector companies. It is executed by the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) of India. Employees Provident Fund is done through LegalRaasta.
Organizations that have employee strength of 20 or more are required to be enrolled with the PF Department. The potential of 20 includes contract representatives like household management, security, or other contractual workers in the business. Those organizations which don’t have the supported number of employees but willing to enlist themselves to provide the advantages of the Provident Fund to their employees can enroll spontaneously with the Regional Provident Fund Office. Registration must be done within one month from the date of joining of 20 employees. Any delay may bring about a penalty.
